About 5,700 NFTs Stolen; Talis Protocol Suspends Listings and Auctions and Formulates Compensation Plan
According to monitoring by Talis Protocol, on October 31, an attacker exploited vulnerabilities in its Injective marketplace and auction contracts to steal about 5,700 escrowed NFTs and sell them through publicly available collection offers. The platform has suspended new listings and auctions on Injective and will return more than 26,000 NFTs in the contracts to their original holders; new listings and auctions on other chains have also been suspended, while existing offers can still be canceled. The patched contracts are undergoing pre-deployment review. The platform is formulating a plan to return the affected NFTs to their original holders and compensate bidders whose offers were fulfilled.
