Bitcoin returns above Strategy's 2026 holding cost basis, purchases since 2025 still underwater

Odaily reports: Darkfost posted that Bitcoin's price has rebounded above Strategy's 2026 holding cost basis of $78,900. Strategy currently holds 848,517 BTC, with an overall average cost of approximately $75,446; if the purchases since 2025 and the sales near this summer's lows are both factored in, the blended cost remains approximately $90,600, and the related purchases are still in an unrealized loss position. After pausing for several weeks, Strategy has resumed buying, with no new purchases last week.
