Odaily reports that according to Iron Fish monitoring, Iron Fish is investigating the abnormal minting of wIRON on Base and has requested the cross-chain bridge service provider ChainPort to conduct an emergency review. The official warning states that until further notice, please do not buy wIRON on Base or use the related cross-chain bridge; at present, it cannot be guaranteed that wIRON has full 1:1 reserve backing. Iron Fish stated that it will continue to update progress after confirming the facts.
