US AI hardware sector climbs collectively, AMD up 5.41%

According to MSX.COM data, the US AI hardware sector rose broadly, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up 3.00%. Among individual stocks, AMD gained 5.41%, Broadcom rose 3.85%, Intel climbed 3.53%, TSMC advanced 3.07%, Nvidia added 1.21%, Micron Technology gained 2.71%, and SK Hynix rose 2.33%. The storage and data storage sectors outperformed, with Western Digital up 7.86% and Seagate Technology up 6.04%;

In the optical communications sector, Lumentum rose 7.01% and Coherent gained 5.91%. The Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares ETF climbed 9.60%.
