Norway's side: Trump blames Norway because his campaign is struggling
Odaily: U.S. President Trump, at a campaign rally in Michigan on Sunday, lashed out at Norway over not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, saying "I don't like Norway" and accusing the country of being "rotten." He again claimed that he had resolved eight wars, with two more about to be resolved, and that he therefore should have received the award. Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide pushed back against the insulting remarks. He said that Trump is in the middle of a campaign and that his party's electoral prospects may not be promising, which has led him to say many outrageous things. Trump's obsession with the Nobel Peace Prize has repeatedly sparked fierce remarks; last year, he actively lobbied for the honor. (Jinshi)
