Odaily — Stripe and Plasma plan to launch a stablecoin payment card that supports users in spending with U.S. dollars, Brazilian real, euros, Mexican pesos, Colombian pesos, and stablecoins such as USDC and OUSD, with the goal of covering more than 100 countries by 2027. The related service is currently operating in over 30 countries, and Stripe's stablecoin card infrastructure is estimated to have processed about $1.2 billion in monthly spending as of 2026. Plasma operates a blockchain designed specifically for stablecoin transactions as well as the neobank app Plasma One, whose multi-currency accounts will migrate to Stripe's card infrastructure.
