National Development and Reform Commission: Investors can continue to invest in overseas financial markets through channels such as Qualified Domestic Institutional Investors, Stock Connect, and Cross-boundary Wealth Management Connect.

Odaily: A relevant official from the National Development and Reform Commission answered reporters' questions regarding the "Measures for the Administration of Outbound Investment." The "Measures (2017)" primarily targeted outbound investment by domestic enterprises and non-enterprise organizations. In recent years, the entities engaging in outbound investment have become more diverse and the forms more varied. In light of the fact that the "Regulations of the State Council on Outbound Investment" define the connotation and extension of outbound investment and have kept pace with the times in clarifying that investors include domestic enterprises, other organizations, and resident individuals, the new Measures correspondingly reiterate that investors include domestic enterprises, other organizations, and resident individuals, further establishing the status of various types of investors as outbound investment entities, improving service and protection measures, and supporting investors in carrying out outbound investment activities in accordance with market-based principles. At the same time, the new Measures have been aligned with existing systems, and investors can continue to invest in overseas financial markets through channels such as Qualified Domestic Institutional Investors, Stock Connect, and Cross-boundary Wealth Management Connect.
