Iran says 7 ships attacked in strait, warns US may face larger-scale response

Odaily: Iran's Revolutionary Guard Navy stated that four vessels engaged in illegal oil transfers in the northern Persian Gulf were simultaneously struck and set on fire after being tracked by its forces. The Revolutionary Guard also said that another three ships struck mines west of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's Revolutionary Guard warned the US military that continued provocation could invite a larger-scale response targeting its regional bases. (Jinshi)
