German Crypto Custody Service to Launch Within Weeks, Deutsche Bank Plans 2027 Expansion into Asia

Odaily: Deutsche Bank plans to launch a crypto asset custody service, allowing corporate and institutional clients to hold and transfer Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins such as USDC, EURC, and EURAU, with the bank responsible for security technologies including wallets and private keys. The German service will launch within weeks and still requires regulatory approval; BaFin granted the relevant authorization under MiCA on October 12. The bank plans to expand the service to Asia in 2027 but has not yet disclosed its preferred regions.
