NEAR Intents is expected to generate approximately $45 million in fees this year, and Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan says it has standalone business support

Odaily News: Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan stated in a memo that NEAR is one of the few crypto assets that combines a grand vision with a real business. NEAR rose 198% in the third quarter, and cumulative transaction volume for its Intents product has just surpassed $30 billion. It is expected to generate approximately $45 million in fees this year, with a portion of the fees returned to token holders through buybacks. Hougan said that even if AI agents do not become mainstream, NEAR still has standalone business support, and its AI vision is an additional bonus.
