Odaily News: According to Binance's proof-of-reserves data, in September 2026, Binance users' Bitcoin holdings increased by approximately $537 million, with holdings rising 0.91% to about 688,600 BTC; during the same period, Ethereum holdings decreased by approximately $499 million, with balances falling 4.61%, USDT holdings declined 0.87%, and BNB holdings declined 0.77%. Bitcoin was the only major asset to see customer balance growth. Binance's report did not explain the reasons behind this, nor did it indicate whether the same group of customers sold ETH and bought BTC. In terms of reserves, Binance's coverage ratio for all eight assets against customer deposits exceeded 100%; Binance holds approximately 691,000 BTC against customer holdings of about 688,600 BTC, a surplus of 0.35%, or about 2,431 BTC, while Ethereum reserves have almost no surplus.
