Star: AI is reshaping financial institutions' back-office operations, and OKX has already applied it to compliance and risk control assistance
Odaily News: On October 7, at the TOKEN2049 event in Singapore, OKX founder and CEO Star stated that AI's impact on the financial industry is not limited to the user end but is also penetrating deeply into back-office operations such as compliance and risk control. OKX has already applied AI to assist in identifying risks, supporting investigations into suspicious transactions and behavior, and providing recommendations, in order to improve processing efficiency and execution consistency. Currently, AI does not directly make compliance or risk management decisions; final decisions are still made by humans.
At the event, Andrew Cuomo, a member of the OKX board of directors and former Governor of New York, also added that clear regulatory rules are an important foundation for fintech companies to expand their services. For companies to provide financial services to a broader user base, they must comply with regulatory requirements and build public trust through compliant operations.
