Blast Network Shuts Down, Coinbase to Suspend BLAST Trading on October 20
Odaily: Ethereum Layer-2 network Blast has announced its shutdown due to operating costs exceeding revenue, and initiated liquidation on October 2. Coinbase will suspend BLAST trading on October 20, and users must withdraw their assets by October 26; after that, they will need to use the Blast bridge contract on Ethereum. Platforms including BTSE, Bitvavo, and Bybit have also announced the delisting or suspension of BLAST. The BLAST token has dropped approximately 99% from its peak and is currently trading at around $0.00024; Blast's TVL has fallen from a peak of $2 billion in June 2024 to approximately $24 million to $32 million.
