NEAR Co-founder Shares Ecosystem Development Ideas, Says Developer Numbers Have Increased Notably Recently

Odaily reports that Near co-founder Illia posted on X platform that over the past few weeks, the number of both new and existing developers in the NEAR ecosystem has increased significantly. As the development barrier lowers, the more important question is shifting from "how to build" to "what to build and how to achieve distribution."

Illia also shared several potential development directions he believes in, including a verifiable inference AI Tamagotchi based on NEAR AI, a universal checkout component supporting any wallet and on-chain payments, an AI encyclopedia combined with prediction markets, a private OTC market based on NEAR Intents, position management that avoids liquidation, private code review, delta-neutral strategies, and private copy trading, among others.

Additionally, he suggested that developers distribute products through NEAR Legion, Aurora Intent Connect, cross-community promotion, Product Hunt, and X.
