Manus Founder: Actively Preparing Domestic Version, Product Always Positioned as a General-Purpose Agent

Odaily reports that Manus founder Xiao Hong stated in a post that Manus has been positioned as a "general-purpose agent" since its inception, and should not be limited to office tasks alone. The team is currently actively preparing a domestic version.

Xiao Hong stated that Manus is expanding into creative scenarios such as video and gaming. Among these, Manus Studio allows the agent to first write code and then convert the code into video, without relying on video generation models. Leveraging cloud computer capabilities, it can also create multiplayer online games. Currently, the Manus cloud computer is capable of providing Linux, Mac, and Windows environments.

Additionally, Xiao Hong described Cue as an agent with its own independent phone number, email, payment capabilities, and computer, and believes that in the future, more interaction forms between humans and agents may emerge, including multi-person and bot group interactions.
