Anthropic's fiscal 2025 revenue grew 1088% year-over-year to $4.59 billion, with net loss widening to $41.97 billion

Odaily News: According to Anthropic's IPO prospectus, the company's fiscal 2025 revenue reached $4.59 billion, a 1088% year-over-year increase from $386 million in fiscal 2024; GAAP net loss widened from $8.31 billion to $41.97 billion, while GAAP operating loss expanded from $2.98 billion to $8.06 billion.

In fiscal 2025, Anthropic's compute and infrastructure spending grew 190% year-over-year to $7.33 billion, accounting for 58% of total operating expenses. As of December 31, 2025, the company held a total of $20.28 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments. Additionally, the company's top two direct customers each contributed 12% of annual revenue, together accounting for 24%.

The prospectus also shows that Anthropic's IPO plans to establish a new founder LLC to maintain what the company calls a "low-ego, truth-seeking environment" control, and warns that certain governance decisions may conflict with the financial interests of Class A shareholders. (Reuters)
