Belarus Registers First Two Crypto Banks, Pending Central Bank Certification and Registration

Odaily Report: The Belarus High-Tech Park (HTP) has registered the country's first two crypto banks. Both institutions first obtained HTP resident company status and will subsequently need to pass certification by the National Bank of Belarus and be included in the crypto bank registry. The specific names of the institutions have not yet been disclosed. According to relevant decrees issued by Belarus this year, crypto banks may combine digital token business with banking, payment, and other related financial businesses. (TASS)
