Circle CFO and Co-founder to Depart, Jeremy Fox-Geen to Stay Until End of 2026
Odaily News: According to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, Circle (NYSE: CRCL) Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen has submitted his resignation and will remain until the end of December 2026 to assist with the transition, with the company having engaged a search firm to find a successor. Fox-Geen joined Circle in May 2021 and led its $1.2 billion initial public offering during his tenure.
On the same day, Circle co-founder P. Sean Neville resigned from the board of directors for personal reasons, reducing the board from eight seats to seven. The filing stated that neither change was due to any disagreement with the company. Under the separation agreement, Fox-Geen will receive $1.05 million in cash compensation, an additional two months of accelerated restricted stock unit vesting, and a 12-month extension of the stock option exercise period.
