Polygon Foundation CEO: 100 Million POL Permanently Burned, Representing About 1% of Total Supply

Odaily reports that Polygon Foundation CEO Sandeep Nailwal posted that 100 million POL tokens have been permanently burned, accounting for approximately 1% of the total supply.

Previously, Sandeep Nailwal stated that the relevant burn contract was ready and could be triggered by any community member, and noted that the community could consider conducting a POL burn on a quarterly basis in the future.
