"White-haired Stock Guru" Serenity: Optical module laser demand continues to exceed supply, bullish for Nvidia

Odaily reports: "White-haired Stock Guru" Serenity posted on X platform stating that Lumentum, during a meeting with Stifel at ECOC 2026, said that Nvidia's Spectrum-6 CPO has seen significantly increased demand for ultra-high-power (UHP) lasers, and UHP laser demand continues to exceed supply. In addition, Lumentum said that NPO scale is larger than CPO, and multi-wavelength external lasers will drive up average selling prices. Serenity also cited a Digitimes report pointing out that Win Semi is expanding continuous wave (CW) laser production capacity, with related products expected to gradually launch in the second half of 2026 and potentially contribute significant revenue in 2027 and 2028.
