Liang Wenfeng Listed as Author, DeepSeek Publishes New Paper Targeting Large-Scale Agent Training

Odaily Report: A new paper co-authored by DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng has been made public, systematically unveiling for the first time the technical details of DeepSeek's Agent training sandbox platform DSec (DeepSeek Elastic Compute). The author list exceeds 130 people, with Liang Wenfeng among them. According to the paper, the DSec platform operates at an enormous scale — a single production unit consists of approximately 160 CPU nodes, 30,000 cores, and 250TB of memory, hosting PB-level images. In terms of capabilities, the DSec platform serves approximately 3 million sandboxes per day, with peak concurrency exceeding 380,000, a creation speed of over 5,000 per second, and a single training task capable of spinning up as many as 32,000 sandboxes at once.
