Cryptocurrency futures trading volume dropped 21% over 24 hours to $227 billion, while open interest edged up 1% to $159.4 billion. The share of aggressive sell-side trades rose to 51%; Binance's USDT-margined borrowing rate climbed to 5.49%, approaching a multi-month high. BTC open interest remained roughly flat at about 710,000 BTC, and the whale long-short position ratio declined.
