Hu Xiaowei, the "second-in-command" of Prince Group, has a £470 million London mansion frozen

Odaily report: Assets scattered across multiple locations worldwide belonging to Hu Xiaowei, the "second-in-command" of Cambodia's Prince Group, are being progressively frozen and restricted from disposal. UK land registry records show that a mansion in Belgravia, central London, was recently frozen. The property was purchased in October 2023 for £53 million (approximately RMB 475 million), with the title registered under Hu Xiaowei's wife, Zhao Chen.

Hu Xiaowei is also under investigation for money laundering in Singapore. Singaporean police disclosed in June this year that they are investigating Hu Xiaowei and his affiliated company Future Oasis on suspicion of money laundering. The total value of assets frozen, seized, or restricted from disposal in investigations related to Prince Group has exceeded S$600 million. (Caixin)
