Odaily reports - According to an official announcement, Binance Futures will end the Latest Price Protection (LPP) period for the ONEUSDT USDⓈ-M perpetual contract at 22:00 (UTC+8) on September 17, 2026, and will gradually transition from LPP to the standard mark price calculation model. The transition period may last up to 3 hours, depending on price volatility and the stability of the index price. During the transition period, to minimize the impact of sudden price fluctuations and better ensure price stability during the switch, the LPP mechanism will gradually transition through a mark price smoothing mode. During the transition period, trading functions will not be affected, and open orders and positions will not be canceled.
