Gold rose 2.5%, reported at $4,369.28 per ounce

Odaily reports that according to the latest Gate data, the price of gold has risen to $4,369.28 per ounce, marking an intraday gain of 2.47%. Silver prices climbed to $65.412 per ounce, recording an intraday increase of 4.4%.

In forex markets, the US dollar fell 0.12% against the offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH) intraday, with the current exchange rate at 6.70412. The US dollar declined 0.33% against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) intraday, with the current exchange rate at 155.736.

Among global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) rose 0.51% intraday to 6,322.73 points; the UK FTSE 100 (UK100) gained 0.5% intraday to 10,771.9 points; and the German DAX 40 (GER40) advanced 0.68% intraday to 25,741.4 points.

In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 1.54% intraday to $100.6 per barrel. Brent crude declined 2.29% intraday to $103.56 per barrel.
