Hamas Military Wing Advises Donors to Avoid Using Binance
Odaily News: A letter from the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, was included in the U.S. Department of Justice's asset forfeiture filing on September 9. In the letter, potential donors were advised not to use Binance to transfer funds, recommending platforms such as Bybit, OKX, Kast, and Redotpay instead, and suggesting the use of Tether's USDT and the TRC-20 network on the Tron blockchain.
The letter stated that Binance "can only be used to purchase currency, and then another app should be used to complete the transfer." Binance Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman said that terrorist organizations advising others to avoid Binance demonstrates that Binance's controls are working.
