On-chain events can be seen up to about 28 seconds earlier, as Polymarket launches its own indexing system

Odaily reports that Josh Stevens, VP of Engineering at Polymarket, posted on X that the team has built its own indexing system using the open-source Rust tool rindexer. On-chain events can now be visible up to about 14 blocks earlier, roughly 28 seconds; the system can complete indexing within 0 to 10 milliseconds after a block is broadcast, approaching real-time.

The refresh speed for trades, positions, and balances will be further improved.
