Crypto Market Sees Broad Decline, BTC Briefly Drops Below $75,000, Only GameFi Sector Defies Trend

Odaily Report: On September 16, according to SoSoValue data, influenced by a combination of factors including the failure of a key procedural vote on the CLARITY Act, the crypto market overall trended downward. The PayFi sector fell 8.44% over 24 hours, with XRP (XRP) and Stellar (XLM) dropping 10.38% and 10.66% respectively. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) declined 3.17%, briefly falling below $75,000 intraday before recovering to $75,600; Ethereum (ETH) dropped 4.88%, falling below $2,400.

Additionally, the GameFi sector remained relatively resilient, rising 9.65% against the trend over 24 hours, with Akedo (AKE) surging 76.22%.

In other sectors, CeFi fell 1.74% over 24 hours, with Cronos (CRO) dropping 6.70%; Layer1 declined 3.44%, with mainstream public chains broadly weakening — Solana (SOL) fell 5.65% and Injective (INJ) dropped 13.07%; Layer2 decreased 4.04%, though Arbitrum (ARB) showed strength with a 10.71% gain; Meme fell 4.24%, with Pump.fun (PUMP) dropping 7.59%; DeFi declined 5.25%, with Curve DAO (CRV) falling 9.72%;
