DeFi Development Increases SOL Holdings to 2,388,900 and Simultaneously Launches $300 Million CHAD Issuance Program
Odaily News: DeFi Development Corp. disclosed that its SOL reserves increased by 55,491 tokens, bringing its holdings to approximately 2,388,900 SOL and SOL equivalents, up about 2% from August 27, 2026.
At the same time, the company established an at-the-market issuance program of up to $300 million for its Series C perpetual preferred stock CHAD, with an issuance price expected to be no lower than the $10 per share par value, and the net proceeds will mainly be used to continue increasing its SOL holdings.
The company stated that SOL has outperformed the Nasdaq 100 Index by 39 percentage points quarter-to-date, while DFDV's performance during the same period reached twice that of SOL. CEO Joseph Onorati said the program gives the company the structure to build CHAD into a new growth engine, with the issuance price to be no lower than the $10 par value. (Globenewswire)
