Odaily News: According to CFM flash memory market data, the global DRAM market size reached $147.07 billion in Q2 2026, up 55.9% quarter-over-quarter, setting a new all-time high. In Q2, manufacturers actively responded to strong server market demand by continuing to expand sales of high-value-added products such as server DRAM and HBM. Compared to Q1, where server and PC DRAM ASPs doubled quarter-over-quarter, the growth rate moderated to the 40%-50% range in Q2.

The favorable pricing environment drove continued strength in DRAM prices, with manufacturers achieving both higher volumes and prices, leading to a significant sequential revenue surge in Q2. Looking ahead to Q3, manufacturers have already locked in price caps under long-term agreements with certain server customers, and the room for price increases outside these agreements is also narrowing quarter by quarter. DRAM ASP is expected to continue rising sequentially in Q3, albeit at a slowing pace.
