In the forex market, the offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH) fell 0.12% intraday to 6.72072. The US dollar against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) fell 0.09% intraday to 159.809.
In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) fell 0.17% intraday to 6,466.94 points; the UK FTSE 100 (UK100) rose 0.25% intraday to 10,817.9 points; and the German DAX40 (GER40) fell 0.49% intraday to 26,379.6 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil rose 0.99% intraday to $86.33 per barrel. Brent crude oil rose 1.15% intraday to $92.32 per barrel.
