Odaily News: According to Iran's Nour News, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, Hamid Bovard, said on Monday that oil operations on Iran's Kharg Island have not stopped, denying Trump's earlier post claiming that the island's key oil hub had been destroyed. Bovard stated: "Trump's tweet is laughable, and the situation on Kharg Island is currently calm and normal."
He noted that 90% of Iran's oil exports come from Kharg Island. Although the island has been bombed multiple times by U.S. and Israeli forces in the past, oil workers have not halted operations "for even a moment." Bovard also mentioned that contractors are currently rebuilding and upgrading storage tanks and docks. (Jin Shi)
