Odaily News, according to Gate data, Korea's KOSPI index fell 2.58% in early trading. Samsung Electronics dropped 3%, and SK Hynix fell 3.5%. The Nikkei 225 index opened down 731.46 points, or 1.10%, at 65,674.10 points on Monday, August 31.
