韩国5大交易所中近三成资产仅一家可交易,“退出难”风险浮现

2026-08-30 08:53

Odaily News: Based on data from South Korea's five major Korean-won exchanges—Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and GOPAX—and public APIs from CoinGecko, after removing duplicate assets, the five exchanges collectively support approximately 606 crypto assets. Among these, 164 assets (27.1%) are listed on only one exchange, while 324 assets (53.5%) are tradable on two or fewer exchanges. Analysis suggests that being listed on a single exchange does not inherently mean an asset carries risk. If the asset is actively traded on overseas exchanges or supports smooth withdrawals, investors still have alternative exit channels. However, for assets with low overseas trading volumes and restricted deposit/withdrawal networks, if support is terminated, investors may face simultaneous difficulties in selling and transferring their holdings.

Among the assets supported by only one exchange, Coinone has the most at 55, followed by Bithumb with 54, GOPAX with 25, Upbit with 16, and Korbit with 14. In terms of liquidity, the median 24-hour trading volume for these 164 assets is only approximately 1.37 million Korean won. Of these, 79 assets have trading volumes below 1 million Korean won, and 38 assets even recorded zero trading activity. (Daum)
