Odaily News: According to Hong Kong Stock Exchange disclosures, after Alibaba (09988.HK) announced a HK$80 billion new share placement plan, the group's Chairman Joseph Tsai and CEO Eddie Wu increased their holdings of Alibaba shares by a combined total of approximately HK$120 million. It is understood that Joseph Tsai purchased 720,000 Hong Kong-listed shares of Alibaba at an average price of approximately HK$112, spending about HK$80 million; CEO Eddie Wu purchased 350,000 Hong Kong-listed shares of Alibaba at an average price of approximately HK$111.6, spending about HK$40 million. Together, the two increased their holdings by 1.07 million shares, with a total amount of approximately HK$120 million.
