孙宇晨:法院已驳回World Liberty所有公司索赔均应仲裁主张
Odaily News: Justin Sun stated on X that his legal team attended a hearing at the U.S. Federal Court in California to oppose World Liberty Financial's move to refer the dispute to secret arbitration and seal related documents.
The court ruled that all of his individual claims will continue to be heard in open court, while rejecting World Liberty's assertion that all company-related claims should be subject to arbitration. The court also ordered both parties to negotiate and determine which claims remain in court and which are submitted to arbitration.
Justin Sun stated that he is one of World Liberty's earliest and largest investors, having invested $45 million in exchange for WLFI tokens. His lawsuit alleges that World Liberty planted a backdoor in the WLFI smart contract, granting itself the unilateral power to freeze, restrict, and destroy holders' tokens, and that it exercised this power to seize his WLFI tokens while threatening him with criminal referral.
