Odaily News, a report shows that capital expenditures for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) operations at 9 listed Bitcoin mining companies reached $5.11 billion in the first half of 2026, with related revenue of $340 million during the same period, representing an input-output ratio of approximately 15:1. Among a sample of 15 mining companies and AI data center firms, combined capital expenditures for the 2026 reporting period totaled $30.7 billion, up 42.6% from the full year of 2025. AI and HPC revenue continues to grow, with Q2 related revenue from the 9 mining companies rising 52% quarter-over-quarter to $206 million, led by Core Scientific, TeraWulf, and Bitdeer.
