Website offline; 1kx-backed generative art platform fxhash announces shutdown

Odaily Planet Daily News Generative art platform fxhash officially announced that the platform has reached its end, the website is now offline, and it is unclear whether it will come back online. The fxhash team was laid off in February, with only the founder remaining. There are currently no current or future development plans, and no one has attempted to repay the company's loans. Verse, Le Random, and objkt still support browsing and trading of fxhash artworks. A former fxhash front-end developer has built the WhiteHash framework, which can preserve fxhash artworks without relying on fxhash infrastructure. In August 2023, fxhash completed a $5 million seed funding round, led by 1kx.
