Mubadala Adjusts US Stock AI Positions: Exits Broadcom, Increases Stakes in Micron and Palantir

2026-08-14 14:48

According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment Company has recently made significant adjustments to its U.S. equity portfolio, reallocating around artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and technology stocks.

The filings show that Mubadala has fully exited its position in Apple (AAPL), while also selling out of Salesforce (CRM) and Broadcom (AVGO).

In terms of AI-related assets, Mubadala still holds NVIDIA (NVDA) stock, totaling 65,326 shares. Meanwhile, it has significantly increased its position in Palantir Technologies (PLTR) Class A shares, with holdings up 40.4% to 95,656 shares.

In the semiconductor sector, Mubadala has slightly increased its stake in Micron Technology (MU), with holdings up 3.0% to 45,451 shares. At the same time, it has reduced its long-held position in GlobalFoundries, with holdings down 5.5% to 399.6 million shares.

These adjustments indicate that Mubadala is reducing exposure to certain traditional large-cap tech stocks and chip leaders, while continuing to bet on areas poised to benefit from the AI wave, such as AI infrastructure, data analytics software, and memory chips.
