BitGo Reports Q2 Revenue of $4.33 Billion, Up 79.6% Year-Over-Year, but Posts a $19 Million Net Loss

Odaily News: Digital asset infrastructure company BitGo reported Q2 revenue of $4.33 billion, up 79.6% year-over-year and 14.7% quarter-over-quarter. The company recorded a net loss of $19 million for the period, compared to a profit of $38.3 million in the same period last year, with unrealized losses of $18.8 million on digital assets.
BitGo's platform assets grew 31% to $65.2 billion, staked assets increased 36% to $11.9 billion, and customer numbers rose 26% year-over-year to 5,833 clients. Stablecoin-as-a-Service revenue surged 148% year-over-year to $38.8 million, while staking revenue reached $64.7 million.
BitGo stated that it has expanded AI applications across its engineering and operations, and expects to achieve approximately $15 million in annual cash savings through cost reductions. The company also launched quantum risk management features for Bitcoin wallets.
As of the end of June, BitGo held $159 million in cash with no corporate-level debt, and held 2,523 BTC valued at approximately $147.7 million. The company has approved a share buyback program of up to $50 million. (Bitcoin.com News)
