Odaily Planet Daily News: CXMT, China's largest DRAM chip manufacturer, saw its share price rise 4% by Friday's midday close, bringing its market capitalization to $540.5 billion—second only to Intel's $552.6 billion and surpassing Tencent's $505.8 billion, ranking 24th in the LSEG global company market value list.

Headquartered in Anhui, CXMT completed its initial public offering of approximately $8.6 billion on July 27. The company's closing price on its first trading day was 466% above the offering price, making it the highest-valued listed company in mainland China. During the same period, Intel's stock price declined, while Tencent's shares fell about 26% year-to-date.

CXMT is currently the world's fourth-largest DRAM producer, ranking after Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron. Nomura projects its global DRAM output share will rise from approximately 10% to around 18% by the end of 2028. Bernstein analysts noted that this IPO will provide more cash for the company's capital expenditures. (Business Insider)
