Odaily News: Park Soo-young, a lawmaker from South Korea's People Power Party, criticized the government's plan to tax virtual asset gains, stating that the plan places 13 million digital asset users in jeopardy under the threat of a "tax bomb" for not investing in the domestic stock market, and demanded its immediate withdrawal. Park Soo-young said this does not mean people will invest in domestic stocks but will instead accelerate the outflow of national wealth. He also noted that between January and September of last year, approximately 124 trillion KRW flowed into overseas digital asset exchanges.
