Odaily News: Swiss banking group UBS Group AG disclosed in its 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it held approximately 2.5 million shares of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) as of June 30, with a position value of approximately $90 million.
As of the end of 2025, UBS held approximately 549,000 shares of IBIT, valued at approximately $27 million; during the first half of 2026, the value of this position grew by approximately 230%. UBS reported $7.3 trillion in total managed investment assets, with the IBIT position accounting for less than 0.02% of its 13F assets.
