DeepSeek announces price adjustment plan, effective August 17

Odaily News: DeepSeek officially announced that it will update and adjust DeepSeek API pricing, adopting peak-valley pricing, with off-peak prices set at half of peak-hour prices. Peak hours are 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 Beijing Time (all other hours are considered off-peak). The new pricing will take effect at 00:00 Beijing Time on August 17, 2026. (Jin Shi)
