Odaily News: According to Gate data, South Korea's KOSPI index rose 3.38% in early trading, with Samsung Electronics up 4% and SK Hynix up 5%. The Nikkei 225 index opened higher by 580.21 points, or 0.86%, at 68,104.27 points on Thursday, August 13.
