Kalshi and DoubleZero Launch Real-Time Market Data Subscription Service, Initially Covering Sports Events and Crypto Perpetual Contracts

Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. prediction market platform Kalshi has announced that it will distribute its real-time order book data through DoubleZero's DoubleZero Edge network, offering subscription services to institutional trading firms. The initial data coverage includes Kalshi sports event contracts and crypto perpetual contracts, featuring Level 1 data showing best bid/offer and executed trades, as well as Level 2 data containing multiple levels of buy and sell orders. The data is transmitted synchronously via multicast in a machine-readable format, and can be used for pricing, hedging, and automated trading. Kalshi stated that it will waive its own data licensing revenue share fees for the first year, with subscription fees primarily covering network transmission costs. DoubleZero stated that this move will provide prediction market participants with professional-grade market data infrastructure similar to traditional finance.
