Elon Musk: Storage capacity grows 20% annually, but demand could grow 200% or even more

Odaily reported that during this morning's SpaceX earnings call, analyst Doug Anmuth asked Elon Musk: "How do you view the supply-demand dynamics of the computing market going forward? Is the current strong pricing power in this sector sustainable?"
Elon Musk responded: "The biggest bottleneck for AI expansion right now remains memory. Memory capacity is currently growing about 20% per year, which is already remarkable for any mature industry. But the question is, is demand also only growing 20%? No! I believe demand is growing at roughly 200% per year, or possibly even higher. If demand growth far outpaces supply, then based on the most fundamental economic principles, prices should rise, not fall."
