Odaily News: According to sources familiar with the matter, ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) plans to begin small-scale production of the advanced low-power memory chip LPDDR6 by the end of this year. If prototype testing goes smoothly, the company will subsequently move toward mass production. LPDDR6 is the next-generation low-power memory chip designed for smartphones and laptops, offering improved data transfer speeds and energy efficiency, as well as support for on-device AI applications.
