Samsung Electronics reclaims top spot in global DRAM market, Micron closes in on SK Hynix

Odaily News, Counterpoint Research data shows that in Q2 2026, Samsung Electronics regained the top position in the global DRAM market with a 39% market share. SK Hynix's market share fell from 39% in the same period last year to 26%, although its revenue grew 214% year-over-year. Micron's market share rose to 25%, narrowing the gap with SK Hynix to just 1 percentage point.
