Odaily News: The Russian government will ban cryptocurrency mining in Moscow, the Moscow Oblast, and 8 districts of the Kursk Oblast starting August 15, with the ban lasting until December 31, 2032. The restrictions cover 8 municipal districts in the Kursk Oblast and the city of Lgov, and apply to local residents participating in activities such as mining pools. The relevant decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and has been published.
